SDHL Team or maid service? Leskands IF women expected to clean stands after men’s games - The Ice Garden
Tuesday morning we weren’t sure what was going to be the article of the week. Then Meredith Foster started making annoyed noises on Twitter and... wow. The dek for this article is “wut. just...wut.” and there’s really not a lot more to say than that.
Between this sort of shenanigans, Leif Boork continuing as the Team Sweden coach, and making it harder for foreign players to join the SDHL... it’s like Swedish Hockey had a look at how the USWNT was treating its players and went “hold my beer”. Even worse, when Sweden completely fails to medal at the Olympics this year, fingers will be pointed at the players and not the obstacles the men in charge keep throwing up against them.
