Engstrom, who plays for Djurgården, is about to move into the playoffs.
The SDHL or Swedish Women's Hockey League (formerly the Riksserien) has wrapped up their regular season and playoffs begin soon.
Jennifer Wakefield (Linköping HC) led the league in goals this year and was second in points with 53 points (30 goals) in 30 games. Michelle Karvinen (Luleå HF) topped the points list with 70.
The playoffs start with the quarterfinals on March 1 - 5, and opponents were chosen today by the top four teams. The reward for coming first was choosing your opponent first, and so on down to the fourth-place team who took whoever was left.
The matchups are shown above. The rounds are best of three and the final is scheduled for March 15 - 19.
