Manon Rhéaume and Linda Cohn talk breaking barriers in sport and the upcoming Between the Pipes movie.
I keep neglecting to rec Robin Flynn's Centre Ice podcast, partly because it's actually a Sunday morning radio show on TSN 690 in Montréal and not exclusively women's hockey. (Also being hard of hearing podcasts take way too much effort most of the time, and I'm usually way behind, which is why any "this episode is great" rec won't be coming from me) You may also know Robin as one half of the CWHLlive broadcast team for Les Canadiennes.

Hammarby Hockey starts new women’s team translation by Katya below:
Former Riksserien players tired of the commute to their old teams have joined with Hammarby in Stockholm to form a new club.
"Linn Asplund, one of the players and promoters, looks forward to the upcoming season in the first division."
"Is there any interest to aim up in the series system, or you want to keep you at a little lower level?
- There is a problem with women’s hockey that you do not receive any compensation whatsoever. Combining jobs and training to play is a problem for us ...
- But we want to play and be as good as possible - maybe not have as many training sessions as the elite teams have, but to compete with them.
- Our ambition in a few years is to take a place in the Riksserien, but right now we want to first of all to stabilize the girls and the team."
