Ryerson University's paper The Ryersonian came out with a bit of a state-of-women's-hockey from the Ryerson Rams perspective, including thoughts from 2 players who have entered the CWHL draft, Rams head coach Lisa Haley (also coach in Sochi) and Kori Cheverie (Furies player and Rams skate training specialist). It even has some discussion of the NWHL. Definitely reccommended reading.

Team USA hero Alex Carpenter did an AMA on Reddit yesterday. One question - she was an NWHL draft pick last year - will she sign?

Current IIHF rankings are out. Crucially, Switzerland and Japan are ranked sixth and seventh respectively and will each host a Final Olympic Qualification tournament in February 2017.
