Referred to as “Series vs USA” or “Red and White Unite” by Hockey Canada and the “Time is Now Tour presented by Toyota” by USA Hockey, the women’s national teams continue their tradition of “friendly” matches leading up to the Olympics.

Three Furies named to Olympic centralization roster
It’s a chance for Canada to really test out their roster before they make final cuts (Team USA’s team is final barring something very unfortunate) and for fans to see the absolute best in women’s hockey six times before the stakes ramp right up. Plus, both teams get to prove they can pull an audience - the series takes place in four NHL arenas and two NHL-sized arenas.
Game Two
Start time: 7:30 pm EDT
Broadcast: TSN2, NHL Network , RDS2
Stream: TSN GO
Location: Agganis Arena, Boston

Game two will likely see most of Sunday’s scratches into the lineup: defenders Micah Zandee-Hart and Renata Fast, as well as forwards Haley Irwin, Amy Potomak and Laura Stacey. Will Ann-Renée Desbiens get another chance in goal or will it be Geneviève Lacasse? Tune in to find out.
