The PWHL is preparing for expansion as early as next season. Early favourites for a team in the USA is Pittsburgh, and Calgary in Canada. With Minnesota out west, it's possible they could expand a division out there. Pittsburgh has hosted a PWHL game last season and have shown consistent interest in the past year.

Also in Pittsburgh, Marc-Andre Fleury made his last visit to the Igloo ahead of his retirement at the end of the season. The franchise's former star goalie got a standing ovation and a lot of flowers, pun intended. He also won the game!
