Insider Trading last night virtually came out and said that John Klingberg is going to be signed any day now, and Toronto, where he is now training, is top of the list.
There's nothing wrong with doing that. Signing some player on a comeback attempt is not a bad idea, and I remain baffled at the upset over the existence of Jani Hakkanpää, but it's not an answer to the missing centre problem.
I have no doubt Brad Treliving is looking to solve that problem too, but also on Insider Trading was the opinion that the Vancouver soap opera is freezing the trade market. If they trade J.T. Miller, then that opens up the centre trading bonanza expected before the deadline.
In the meantime the Leafs are pretty bad – I can't actually see well enough to watch, so I only listened, but I tapped out in the third period.
In other things going on:
This looks interesting.
Sorry, I've run out of seeing power, so you'll have to find your own topics to discuss today. I know you can do it!
