In other NHL news:
Carolina and Colorado both had chances to win their series, and OT didn't go that late, so I have no idea if the Avs did. The Hurricanes won and will face the Rangers in the second round.
Vancouver played the Predators late with their backup backup goalie again. They could also have won their series, who can say? Only those on the west coast.
