Putting up 10 points in two games is impressive at any level. To do it in the best junior league on the planet is something else, right? Well, that's just what Mitch Marner has done with back-to-back five-point nights

The Leafs' fourth overall selection now has 31 points in 15 games, including 24 on his current nine-game streak.

Fellow Leafs 2015 draftee Jeremy Bracco is off to a strong start of his own too with 10 points in his first seven games as an OHL rookie, including a three-assist night last on Friday.

Watch the best of last night's magic below, and notice how all of the plays were created with a tangible individual effort -- neither player needs soft secondary assists to add to their point totals.

When watching Bracco, it's evident he's eager to set up down low and use his passing to find teammates. It helps when you're feeding Ryan MacInnis too...

And notice how easily Bracco, who isn't the strongest skater in a straightaway, alters his body positioning here:

And again, notice how Bracco follows his pass instead of peeling wide and retrieves it. Nice awareness to release the pass and acknowledge the shooter as soon as he makes his move too.

Marner, now third in the OHL in points per game behind teammate Christian Dvorak and 2016 NHL Draft prospect Alex DeBrincat, likes to shoot low glove but nice recognition to see five hole here:

And notice the two passes he makes here, one on a quick tip from a foot race, and another back across the ice for a pretty assist:

Some puck luck on his second goal but a nice instinctual cross-ice pass nonetheless.

And complete control of the ice, with way too much room (fellow Leafs prospect J.J. Piccinich being opportunistic as he has all year):

La pièce de résistance:

Both players were in on half their team's goals in the 10-4 and 6-2 wins respectively. Elsewhere, Leafs prospect Travis Dermott also registered a career-hight four assists. Dermott now has 16 assists in 18 games with Erie despite having yet to score. Piccinich's two goals gave him 25 points in 15 games -- London's top two units are among the best in junior hockey.

In the QMJHL, Dmytro Timashov (20-10-25-35) was held scoreless, Martins Dzierkals (20-13-15-28) continued his impressive rookie campaign with a goal, Cody Donaghey (10-2-4-6) picked up a goal and an assist.

Out West, defensemen Andrew Nielsen (18-7-14-21) picked up his 14th assist of the season. The surprise third round pick is doing the Leafs proud early on this year and sits second among WHL defensemen in scoring behind first round pick Travis Sanheim.
