The Toronto Marlies have some very similar names on their roster. There's Connor Brown, in his second professional season with the Maple Leafs organization, who has put together a nearly point-per-game campaign this year. There's Connor Carrick, who came to the Leafs alongside Brooks Laich, and is now paying dividends for the Marlies in the playoffs. And then there's Sam Carrick, now playing in his fourth season in the organization.
Having Connor Brown and Sam Carrick was probably one thing, but throwing Connor Carrick into the mix? Yeesh, that's a lot to take in.
So the Marlies decided to have some fun with that, and put Brendan Leipsic, Rich Clune, Josh Leivo, and Stuart Percy to the test. Of course, spending so much time around their teammates probably helped them with these questions.
Anyway, now I just want Connor Brown to organize a team-wide chess tournament and see how it goes. Sam Carrick can provide the maple syrup refreshments.
