The Marlies love us enough to make their 20 questions videos, and for that we should all thank them. There have been three new ones so far this season. Justin Holl, Kasperi Kapanen and now Andreas Johnsson.
In a kindness to Johnsson’s evolving English skills, the Marlies paired him up with Viktor Loov, a genius move that led to a serenade, in Swedish, of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from the “Lion King”. Where else can you get that kind of content?
Loov starts off by jokingly introducing his victim with several versions of the names he gets called. And between the singing and the shocking revelation of Volvo ownership Johnsson demonstrates his favourite dance move (consider this your only warning) and cannot remember a single goal he has ever scored.
To keep the Swedish stereotypes going—the only thing missing is two cups of coffee and some IKEA meatballs—Johnsson decides fellow Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the athlete he’d most like to swap places with.
And that would put Zlatan on the Marlies. Hmmm. Maybe it would work out? He can score pretty goals at least.
