Frölunda is playing Luleå, home of the women's champions. The men would like to match that, but Frölunda is proving hard to beat.
Game one was decided on one long bomb from a defenceman, and ended 1-0 Frölunda.
Game two was a sluggish, low shooting affair where Frölunda looked beat up and tired. Luleå took it 4-2 while Andreas Johnson managed one shot on goal. No one on his team had more than two, so he wasn't the only one looking bad on the stat sheet.
Game three went today, and Frölunda owned the ice in this one. They outshoot Luleå 32-16 in shots on goal, and Johnson's line were cooking. Most of the actual shooting was, as per usual, coming from Johan Sundström, and here he is making it 2-0 on the power play off a very nice set up from Johnson.
