The Toronto Maple Leafs had a pretty good week, and with them, so did Tyler Bozak. Winning two of three games, outscoring opponents by 12-8, and just building off of what has been a solid month of December has been pretty great.
And Bozak was a huge part of that this past week. His four goals - including a hat trick in the third period of a 7-4 win over the Colorado Avalanche - and assist for five points were the second-most any NHL player scored over the past week.
There was the hat trick, then a game-tying assist against the Arizona Coyotes in the Leafs' one loss of the week, and then, finally, the first goal of the game against the New York Islanders to help bring the Leafs back in the win column.
Bozak, with nine goals and 24 points on the season, is second in Leafs scoring. James van Riemsdyk leads the team with 25 points, and Bozak's 24 has him tied with Leo Komarov, but he's played four fewer games.
