Travis Dermott heads to the bench in what looks to be serious pain after blocking a shot in front of the Toronto net. Hopefully just a stinger, but doesn't look great. pic.twitter.com/hmaB1Z1XmM

During the third period the Leafs delivered the news:
Travis Dermott will not return to tonight’s game due to a lower body injury. #TMLtalk

You don’t say? An LBI, huh?
We’ll update you tonight if Mike Babcock says anything post-game, and we’ll see if anything is announced tomorrow as well. The Leafs have not been practicing much, given their schedule and the time of the year. They play at home again on Monday.
Meanwhile, if any replacement call-up is needed the Marlies were in Winnipeg today, and unless they were all going to Adam Brooks’ house for Easter dinner on Sunday, they should be back sometime on Sunday. They don’t play again until Thursday.
Mike Babcock on Travis Dermott: “They’ll be doing scans and whatever, all that stuff. Who knows? They’ll tell me tomorrow.”

Better detail:
Babcock said this on Dermott: "He had x-rays and there was nothing. And then they'll have whatever scans they do next and then we'll see how he's feeling tomorrow and then we'll make a decision."

The Leafs are off today, Sunday, so don’t expect a lot of news before Monday morning skate time.
