The final game today in the Marlies’ preseason tour of Newfoundland was a 4-2 win over the IceCaps in Gander.

Tony Cameranesi tied the game up, and Chase Witala, with his fifth point in three games, got the go-ahead goal.

Most of this team will be taking off the Marlies jersey and joining the Orlando Solar Bears or looking for other jobs. But some will stick, and Witala and Cameranesi are two that might.
The full Marlies camp, expanded with cuts from the Leafs, has just this week to sort out a team to play the opening day game on October 15 at 1 pm when the Marlies host the Utica Comets at Ricoh Coliseum.
