The Toronto Marlies, along with the entirety of the AHL, have released their 2023-24 schedule, including opening weekend which is the weekend after Thanksgiving on October 14th and 15th against the Rochester Americans (BUF) and Utica Comets (NJ).
The regular season is six months long, ending at the end of April.
22 of the 76 games (~30%) will be on Saturday, most times in the afternoon before the Leafs game. There are zero games scheduled for Thursday, only one on a Monday (Family Day), and four on Tuesday.
The Marlies will play Belleville (OTT) 10 times, Laval (MTL), Cleveland (CBJ), and Syracuse (TBL) eight times each, Rochester and Utica six times each. There are 16 games against all the Atlantic Division teams, and 10 games in the Western Conference (Grand Rapids, Manitoba, and Milwaukee).
And as is becoming tradition, there will be some special games at Scotiabank Arena.
The Marlies will visit Scotiabank Arena for three games in their annual series, which includes games on Boxing Day (December 26), Family Day (February 19) and a Marlies and Maple Leafs doubleheader on March 16.
