The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed 25-year-old C/RW Michael Amadio to a one-year, two-way NHL contract with a cap hit of $750k (league minimum) and an AHL salary of $400k. He will need to pass waivers in order to be sent to the Toronto Marlies.
Amadio split time with the LA Kings and Ottawa Senators last year, and split time between the NHL and AHL. Amadio comes from Sault Ste. Marie and played for the Brampton/North Bay Battalion in the OHL.

Amadio was not qualified by the Senators this summer after being acquired from the Kings for Christian Wolanin. Amadio has played a total of 173 NHL games over four seasons.
It’s likely he will be a big part of the Toronto Marlies and a depth piece for the Maple Leafs.
