Mac Hollowell and the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds were eliminated from the Ontario Hockey League playoffs earlier this week by the Saginaw Spirit, ending Hollowells junior hockey career.
The Niagara Falls native was picked in the 4th round (118th overall) by the Maple Leafs in the 2018 draft.
This season Hollowell scored 24 goals and added 53 assists for 77 points in 64 games this season.
Hollowell signed a three year ELC back in March and will be joining the Marlies on an ATO for the playoffs.
On the last day of the regular season, the Marlies also released Alex Basso, Trey Bradley, Erik Brown and Ryan McGregor from their ATOs.
