Last week Adam Brooks scored one goal (the game winner), and added seven assists for eight points in the Pats final four games of the WHL Eastern Conference Finals. This big return to form from a second round injury has given him the WHL Player of the Week honours for the week ending April 30th, his third time being named PotW this season for the WHL - he was named CHL player of the week in January.
Brooks finished second overall in scoring in the WHL, 43G, 87A, 130 points - just one behind team mate Sam Steel. Brooks has 18 points in 15 games for the Pats this post season.
The WHL Finals begin this Friday, May 5th with Regina hosting the Seattle Thunderbirds. The winner of this series will be awarded the Ed Chynoweth Cup, and represent the WHL in the 99th Memorial Cup Tournament in Windsor, ON.
