Toronto Maple Leafs prospect report: Everyone gives thanks (except Keaton Middleton)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Not a lot of games were played in the OHL last week, but Fedor Gordeev and Nicolas Mattinen were busy with the Firebirds as they made a far east road trip from Kingston to Ottawa.

Keaton Middleton only played one game, but he’s got to be frustrated with the team in Saginaw, as they start the year 1-3-1, and are looking to finish near the bottom of the OHL West yet again.

Out west, Ian Scott is still injured and Vladimir Bobylyov is off to Russia apparently. The NCAA season started and the biggest story is JD Greenway sitting out the weekend with some personal issues. The team won’t talk past that, and hopefully he’s back on the ice soon.
