The Maple Leafs’ Development Camp will have its first on-ice activities today. It’s a chance for the organisation, including Marlies coach Sheldon Keefe and Growlers coach Ryane Clowe, to get a comparitive look at the whole prospect pipeline simultaneously.
Other teams are running their camps this week too, including the Hurricanes who have scheduled an evening for the group to play Fortnite. Careful there, kids. It smells like a trap! If you’re really good at Fortnite some crank will label you as having a video game addiction problem.
Meanwhile, Tavares Watch continues with people actually stationed outside his agents’ office to snap grainy video of the team executives walking through the lobby. I hope they at least pay for some good food for the crew while they’re stuck there.
The Hockey Hall of Fame is expected to announce this year's inductees today. We'll have plenty to say about it after the official announcement scheduled for 3 p. m.
