Welcome to the second episode of Back to Excited, PPP’s new Leafs podcast, hosted by myself and our very own Acting the Fulemin. We discussed a bunch of stuff this time, including:
- Our opinions on Lou’s tenure as GM, and the difference between his tear-down moves and his build-up moves [0:55]
- I forget that Nazem Kadri was an RFA when he signed his extension [16:20]
- Is Nikita Zaitsev any good? Fulemin brings the heavy artillery in terms of stats and raises some concerns. We forgot to mention this on the podcast, but the data is courtesy of Corey Sznajder (@ShutdownLine), so a big shoutout should go to him [16:33]
- Freddie Gauthier, and why he got no votes on the T25U25 this year. We also talk about some of the no-votes who have an outside shot at making the NHL [28:34]/
Once again, we are hosted on Soundcloud, where you can stream or download the podcast. You can also find us on iTunes, and presumably other podcast stores that just end up searching iTunes anyway. This is (still) not the best produced podcast you will hear, but some volume imbalance and random Skype noises aside, a lot of the audio issues from the first episode were resolved.
As always, sound off in the comments, rate us on iTunes, and let us know what you think!
