The Maple Leafs picked up another win last night, and Mitch Marner picked up another fake hat trick. Marner can’t catch a break with the NHL who have changed the official score sheet during the game long after a goal happens twice in recent days with Marner losing credit for a goal both times.

The Leafs also lost another player to injury; Tyler Ennis will join Zach Hyman in the pressbox for at least a few games.

It was a fun game to watch, but the Rangers were much too close at times, and Mike Babcock himself is reported to have said he is not be happy with how they won.

The Leafs have one last game tonight before the Christmas break, facing the Red Wings tonight at 7:30 p.m. After that, they take a four day break and play again on Friday in Columbus against the Blue Jackets.
