A shutout win and a trade all in one night. Nothing is going to slow the Maple Leafs down!
Eric Fehr was traded as we all assumed, but not to the Anaheim Ducks surprisingly. After spending most of the season with the Ducks AHL team Fehr is now with the San Jose Sharks. In return the Maple Leafs get a 2020 7th round pick.
Earlier in the day the Boston Bruins acquired Nick Holden from the New York Rangers for Rob O’Gara and a 2018 3rd rounder. Back to back days with two trades. Only six more days of trading left, whats on deck for today?
Last night the Maple Leafs also defeated the Florida Panthers in a shutout, finally breaking the ‘Tuesday night vs a Southeast Division’ team curse. Damn it was a good day. Here’s some more news.
