For those wondering, Jimmy Vesey is wearing No. 26.

Most recently, No. 26 was worn by Nick Shore, who you may remember as replacing Jason Spezza in the #Leafs lineup on opening night last season. pic.twitter.com/6v5dSk4PsJ
With the Joe Thornton signing on Friday, the Maple Leafs have added a whole collection of new (or, er, old) faces in the past week, which means one thing—okay, it means a whole lot of things, but moving on—we’ve all got to learn a bunch of new jersey numbers. I very much appreciate Thornton and Brodie both picking sky-high numbers, especially Brodie, because let’s be real, the beard is going to be enough to identify Jumbo Joe on even the lowest-quality game streams. Meanwhile, I’m not sure I could pick T.J. Brodie out of a lineup yet. Also, blue jersey or not, re-adjusting to a world where Wayne Simmonds doesn’t wear 17 is going to be annoying.
Anyway, if you’ve been waiting with bated breath to buy a Jimmy Vesey Leafs jersey, now you have all the necessary information to do so. Follow your heart.
