Johnsson shot 15.4% this season on 130 shots, scoring 20 goals. He also put up 23 assists (13 primary assists) playing on all four lines. His 5v5 impact was good, 54% shot attempts, 51% shots, 54% scoring chances. Four years takes Johnsson from his age-25 season (November birthdate) through to his age-28 season, also known as his late prime. The contract buys one of Johnsson’s UFA seasons as well.
