The Maple Leafs are out of the playoffs, but the Marlies have only just begun their run for a second the Calder Cup Championship. At their first playoff game here in Toronto last night they swept the Rochester Americans out and became one of the first AHL teams to move on to the second round of the playoffs.
Adam Brooks was the goal-scoring hero in the game, picking up a hat-trick on the way to their way to a 3-1 win.
Brooks wasn’t the only one who impressed.

--Sheldon Keefe has four winning sweeps in 10 playoff series as Marlies head coach since arriving in 2015. The Marlies have won eight of those 10 series as well.

Things sound much more fun here than in the AHL Western Conference at the Wolves vs. Griffins game.
Because this series isn't weird enough, play just had to be whistled dead because there were two pucks on the ice. #CHIvsGR
