The Toronto Marlies are bringing their Calder Cup Playoffs run back home tonight. After splitting the first two games in Charlotte against the Checkers, the team will kick-off a three game homestand tonight. Puck drop will be shortly after 7:00 p.m. at the Coliseum.
Tonight’s game will not be broadcast on TSN, but Thursday and Friday’s games will be shown on TSN2.
Andreas Borgman isn’t perturbed by the loss in Game 2, and thinks the team simply needs to “sharpen up some stuff.”
Meanwhile, Dallas Eakins’ San Diego Gulls are tied with the Chicago Wolves at one win each in their Western Conference series. It would be interesting to see him return to the Coliseum to play the Marlies in the Calder Cup Final, but there’s many games to play for both teams before that can happen.
