If this looks exactly like yesterday’s FTB, I want you to know that’s all in your imagination. Fulemin is asking for mailbag questions in the comments, so have at it.
Oh, but one thing:
Canucks score eight in win against Bruins
Bo Horvat had two goals and two assists for the Vancouver Canucks in an 8-5 win against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden on Thursday.
LOL
Good morning.
The Leafs don’t play until tomorrow, so here’s a Sporcle to liven things up a bit. Typing “Carrick” will yield two correct answers, so there’s a tip to get you started. It’s amazing how many players you forget, although forgetting the 2015-2016 season is probably a good thing.

Finally, a win on home ice.

From the Branches
Keefe: Liljegren taking on challenge of new role, increased responsibilities- TSN
The Marlies coach spoke about his young defencemen here, and it’s worth a listen.
Wheeler: Preliminary ranking for the 2019 NHL draft’s top 62 prospects- Scott Wheeler, The Athletic
Scott does great rankings for the NHL Draft. My one criticism is that he has Hlinka standouts far too low. Podkolzin and Broberg may be too high on most lists (especially Broberg), but this is taking it a bit too far for me. Podkolzin is a top 10 guy for me.
2018-19 NHL point projections and playoff probabilities- Dom Luszczyszyn, The Athletic
The Leafs have a 12% chance of winning the Stanley Cup, which means that we should have 12% of the parade planned.
Leafs Musings: Scouting Timothy Liljegren & Rasmus Sandin, Travis Dermott’s top-pairing chances, Jeremy Bracco’s uphill battle- Kevin Papetti, Maple Leafs Hot Stove
I will be writing a weekly feature over at MLHS, and I shared my thoughts on Liljegren, Sandin, and Dermott here. While Bracco’s been generating plenty of offence thus far, he does not play a heavy style, and he has an uphill battle ahead of him as a result.
Enjoy your day.
