After an eternal wait, the Toronto Marlies are set to begin their AHL season today against the Manitoba Moose.

The Marlies open the 2020-21 season on Monday in Manitoba. Catch the game on #AHLTV as part of the 🇨🇦 division freeview! #ForeverStartsHere pic.twitter.com/e36qTBABoR
The game tonight will be free to watch on AHLTV, as will their game on February 21st against the Stockton Heat. You can sign up for an account to stream the games here. To watch other Marlies games, you will need to sign up for an AHLTV subscription or purchase single game streams.
Hardev will have a full preview of the Marlies season. We can expect them to have a loaded defense, headlined by Rasmus Sandin and Timothy Liljegren. Their forwards will be... less good, although they will have Nicholas Robertson to lead the offense.
It will be fun to see some of the young, upcoming Leaf prospects who are already pretty close to the NHL, and in fact have played some NHL games already. We may also see some of our Euro prospects come over to join the Marlies later in the year, after their seasons wrap up. That means guys like Semyon Der-Arguchintsev, Yegor Korshkov, and maybe Filip Hallander or Pontus Holmberg. With quarantine a thing, they may not actually be able to get into games on time, depending on when their seasons end.
Those lot could shore up the forward lines to make them more potent — not that there will be any playoffs or championship run to chase. But it will be fun to see them up close, together, and against other professional-level talent!
GO MARLIES GO!

And just because I love him, even though he has nothing to do with the Leafs, Flyers prospect Zayde Wisdom scored his first (and second) AHL goal last night. GO ZAYDE!
