Oh God these guys again, eh?
The yet to technically clinch a playoff spot Toronto Maple Leafs head to one of their many homes away from home for the game that should officially put them into the playoffs.
The Leafs have not clinched because the Montreal Canadiens are seven points behind the Leafs, and have four more games to play. So, if the Leafs lose all of their remaining games and the Habs win theirs the Leafs will miss the playoffs.
But that won’t happen.
Right?
Right?

The last time these two teams met the Senators walked away with a 6-2 victory that ended a week of the Maple Leafs essentially playing with an empty net. The Senators took the energy from that win and....got beat down by everyone except the Buffalo Sabres, who they shut out.
The Maple Leafs seem to have found their game lately, beating the Sabres and Panthers, and losing in overtime to the Rangers and shootout to the Flyers. Yeah, two losses, but Alex Georgiev goalie’d the Leafs and the Flyers took the Leafs to seven shootout rounds.
Tonight should be a win for the Maple Leafs, but I don’t want to jinx them as I usually do in previews, so I hope that everyone enjoys the game and the most popular team in Ottawa wins the game.
