Anaheim Ducks (22-26-6) @ Toronto Maple Leafs (28-19-7)

Fresh off an interesting and important trade for the Toronto Maple Leafs — their second with the LA Kings in recent memory — the Leafs show off their new goalie and winger against a California team they surely know very well.
The Ducks are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens last night, so they should be both more physically and mentally tired than the Leafs. Money on them scoring the first goal.
The Leafs currently have three goalies on their roster as of Thursday night when I’m writing this: Michael Hutchinson, Jack Campbell, and of course Frederik Andersen. If Andersen is still too hurt to play, the newbie will get the start tonight, with Hutchinson as the backup.

In terms of skaters, Trevor Moore is off to Hollywood, with Kyle Clifford likely taking his spot 1-to-1. On defense, Cody Ceci is out indefinitely and will be reevaluated in one month, per the Leafs. Martin Marincin is on the roster as the extra defenseman, and today Timothy Liljegren has been called up as well.
Maple Leafs Lines
Based on the last game
Forwards
Zach Hyman - Auston Matthews - Mitch Marner
Alexander Kerfoot - John Tavares - William Nylander
Andreas Johnsson - Pierre Engvall - Kasperi Kapanen
Kyle Clifford - Frederik Gauthier - Jason Spezza
Defense
Jake Muzzin - Justin Holl
Travis Dermott - Tyson Barrie
Rasmus Sandin - Martin Marincin/Timothy Liljegren
Goalies
Assumed for now
Jack Campbell
Michael Hutchinson
As expected for the re-billed-ing Ducks (sorry), they have some decent names up front, including their prospects of the present and the future. The bottom six is quite bad. As for the defense, there are definitely some surprises, that’s for sure.
Anaheim Ducks Lines

Max Jones - Sam Steel - Ondrej Kase
Nick Ritchie - Adam Henrique - Troy Terry
Nicolas Deslauriers - Derek Grant - Carter Rowney
Defense
Hampus Lindholm - Erik Gudbranson ... Wait up. Erik Gudbranson is a Duck??????

Jacob Larsson - Korbinian Holzer (hello, old friend!)
Goalies

Ryan Miller
Gibson got the start in Montreal, so it’s likely that the Leafs will see Miller in net tonight.
When we get more updates on the roster we’ll let you know.
UPDATE:
Miller is definitely in for the Ducks, Campbell for the Leafs. But wait, there’s more:
Sheldon Keefe said Frederik Andersen won’t be available this weekend. Could play Campbell back to back but will get through tonight first.

Don’t expect that decision until tomorrow late in the day.
Better update:
Timothy Liljegren will partner with Rasmus Sandin tonight

Sheldon Keefe says Kyle Clifford will play in the bottom six, but there are some game-time decisions so not 100% sure where he slots in yet
