It’s fall. Or autumn if that’s your preferred word. It feel like winter. Or it did through the last few days. There was even a sprinkling of snow around the GTA to greet us on Monday morning, however temperatures are going back up several degrees today through the rest of the week, so goodbye to that.
The point is now is that time of the year that’s supposed to be the start of hockey season. Whether you follow the Leafs, the Marlies, or your local junior team, they would all be several games in to the season on November 4. The Leafs would probably already have some huge controversy by now, likely goaltending. We have been robbed of the October Freddy panic entirely! Nevermind November Freddy...
We’re simply waiting for any news about how or when a new season will begin, but, I will go out on a limb and say there’s no chance it’s in the calendar year 2020.
