The NHL is having a tough time figuring out how the hell they want to handle goalie interference calls. It’s gone back and forth a few times this season, from apparently anything being called goalie interference to nothing being called goalie interference and apparently we’re back where we started. It’s causing a lot of frustration among players and coaches, who have aired their annoyance publicly. You have Mike Babcock saying it needs to be figured out before the playoffs, you have stars like Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews making pointed gestures at the refs in games... it’s been a wild ride.
The NHL apparently woke up on the aggressive side of the passive bed on Saturday evening, as they leaked to their media mouthpieces have made it known that they aren’t very happy that players and coaches are complaining about their incompetence on the matter.

Wait, only one link from Katya? That isn’t right... we’ve been leaning hard on her all season to make the big saves scoops and bail us out when our defense coverage lapses. I think we need to be concerned that she’s getting tired, and we should rest her down the stretch so she can be at peak performance come playoffs time.

It is with great regret that I must inform you that the OG Shitweasel has laid claim to his old Shitweasel shitcrown.

Penny Oleksiak’s inferior brother scored a big goal for the Pens on Sunday, and it wasn’t called back for goalie interference!

Jordan Eberle scored his 24th goal and 48th point of the season. He’s going to top 50 points for the Isles and their prolific offense.

You know who won’t score 50+ points, and might not even pass 40+ points, on a team with a not so prolific offense that could use more offense? Why, the Edmonton OiLOLers of course!
Have a great Monday everyone!
