Here’s our preview of the two games against the Canucks:

Preview: Maple Leafs play two against a recovering Canucks team

Yes, the Canucks, who have been out of the division for over two weeks as they dealt with the coronavirus spreading through the team are back playing tonight, and they are playing against the Leafs. They were supposed to face them yesterday, but the North Division schedules have already been altered more than Captain Janeway alters a timeline, so here we are.

Even if they managed a five game catch up winning streak, the Canucks still wouldn’t knock out the Habs from the fourth division playoff spot, but, who knows what can happen! Maybe the Habs will go on an epic losing streak and fall out. Maybe future Kyle Dubas will come back in time with an armoured Anderson who will have a 1.000 sv%. It could happen.

The Leafs tonight are back at full strength with the return of both William Nylander and Auston Matthews to the line up.

Tonight feels like the third act of an opera, so how about some classic opera music! hopefully the Leafs leave this opera with 2 points, and not only 2 GP.

GO LEAFS GO!

The Leafs have this one no problem, right?

No problem! We don’t even need the transphasic torpedo pucks.16
This is totally the kind of game that will blow up on the Leafs, but Willy is back, and I feel lucky!37
The Canucks are like Ultros... they are way harder a boss then you expect. That Level 3 Muddle counter is terrifying.13
