And there was some really closely fought games there. This year has been exceptional for parity in the bottom half of the draw and growing parity in the second tier below the big two.
There were other playoff games last night.
Washington looked like they were going to blow a three goal lead, but they hung on to win it 4-2.
And in the Colorado Calgary late game, well, it was late is what it was. The Avalanche made Mike Smith do some work, but were blanked in the end. Boy does Smith love to dramatize every save.
