Sarnia Sting coach Derian Hatcher had this to say about McGregor, in an interview with InsideHalton:
“He can make those little greasy plays and makes passes in tight spaces. His overall knowledge of the game — he’s a smart hockey player. The way he thinks the game, you can’t teach that.”
He spent most of last summer recovering from a concussion he sustained at the end of the 2015-16 season.
McGregor was left off of most draft lists but was ranked #249 by Future Considerations.
Ryan McGregor was ranked 249th by our team at FC. Crafty player who really needs to add strength. Good release.
