So for our long weekend, we took off to Harrison Hot Springs. It's a cute lakeside town about an hour and a bit from our place with super nice sandy beaches, a couple of decent hotels, and uh... that's about it. There's only one store, a Baskin Robbins, a bunch of really bad over priced restaurants, and one really nice restaurant that just opened. We were fortunate enough to find a hotel that allowed dogs, and since it was on the beach almost all the restaurants had patios which we sat on so that Keiko could be with us. The bad part is that my brain is currently fried from being in the sun too much and my husband looks like a lobster. But aren't those traditional results of long weekends? Anyways I'm getting caught up on my hockey news so if there's anything old in your links, please forgive me.
