Good morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!

It's Thursday, November 14th, 2024. An important day.

My new washing machine is being delivered today.

My current one died, bearings or something, and the repair call would have cost more than I paid for it, and it's my second used washer in this house so now it's time to go shiny, new, and under warranty.

Now this isn't related to the Maple Leafs in anyway, but I'm so very excited. When I was a young lad working at hockey games for my local public access TV station, we would go out for pizza and wings afterwards. Two producers were talking about dishwashers and one turned to me and said "one day you'll be excited about appliances."

He was absolutely correct. Did he think I'd be so excited I would subject millions of internet people to it? No. That would be a weird thought in the year 2000, but here we are.

Oh, also the Leafs played last night.
