Last night's loss to the Florida Panthers can only be described as a God damn catastrophe for the upcoming 2010 Stanley Cup Champions. Grrrrrrrrrrr. David Booth, he sucks and I want to rip his head off, scored two goals and some shitty backup goalie named Scott Clemmensen nearly got a shutout. Unfortunately I think this is more than just a minor roadblock in the way of the Maple Leafs' march to the playoffs.
With this loss, the Leafs can now only reach 84 points on the season. So long as all of the terrible teams in front of the Leafs never win more than three games, then the upcoming Stanley Cup Champions will be able to punch their ticket to the big dance. Have you ever danced with the Stanley Cup? It smells great when you hold it up close. Though I wouldn't know from personal experience; well I mean with the real cup, though I do have a replica of it that I keep in my basement.
But I digress, I can't wait to see this team destroy the lowly Thrashers on Thursday. Kuleaid man will do the dangle dangle, Bozak will Bozo the opposing goalies, Kessel will be Philthy, and MONSTER with be monster. I'll you you all back in the FTB on Friday. Until then, GO LEAFS GO!
