DGB and Bloge Salming have been on deck for the Habs' eulogy since the Capitals took a 3-1 lead. This has been met with disastrous results. Now, they think that they might have some sort of evil powers or that the hockey gods have a sick fascination with screwing with them moreso than with the average Leafs fan. Personally, I think the solution is simple: Give up the eulogy.
Look, I was among those that were most anticipating their Habs eulogy and Chemmy and I roasted the Senators instead like good soldiers but I have to point one thing out:
- When Chemmy and I wrote it in 2008 we got to see Carey Price's meltdown.
- When Chemmy and I wrote it in 2009 we got to see that hilarious sweep by the Bruins.
I think we know the real reason the hockey Gods are keeping the Habs alive. Do the right thing.
