Hockey Canada has announced their Olympic Men’s roster and there’s three ex-Leafs on an interesting roster culled from the European leagues.
Ben Scrivens will be there as one of three goalies.
He’s joined by Justin Peters and Kevin Poulin.
Brandon Kozun and Mason Raymond are also on the roster with an interesting group of forwards. Both Kozun and Scrivens are KHL players of note, Kozun is a top line forward for Lokomotiv (Yegor Korshkov’s team) and Scrivens is with Salavat Yulaev this season. Raymond is on a point per game pace in the Swiss league.
The rest of the roster is below.
On Defence:
Stefan Elliott
Chay Genoway
Cody Goloubef
Marc-André Gragnani
Chris Lee
Maxim Noreau
Mat Robinson
Karl Stollery

There are a lot of players there with NHL experience. A lot of them are just so very close to NHL-calibre now that they could almost make some rosters. Much more so that Kozun, a lot of them.
This should be a fun and exciting team, with some youth and some experience, and it will be interesting to see how far a scrappy attitude will take them.
Good Luck. Guys!
