You may be here because you are wondering what will be the actual start time of the Superbowl which you can watch on TV today.
I have no idea.
I’ll guess it’s something like 7:30 pm. It will probably have an official start time hours earlier but there will be anthems and fighter jets and ex-players talking about a Superbowl from the 1970’s. It will go on for longer than a ceremony in Montreal to retire a number used by a guy who played six games for the Habs.
The intermission show will have some current pop-music celebrity and likely a surprise appearance by some 1980’s pop-music celebrity. People will tweet about this. All the people. Your Twitter feed at about 9:00pm today will be nothing but “OMG I can’t believe they got [insert 1980’s pop-music celebrity] to sing at the Superbowl.

Recap: Leafs dominated by the Bruins, lose 4-1
The Bruins absolutely pounded the Leafs last night. The scary part is the Leafs weren’t actually that bad, but the Bruins are simply that good. The really scary part is the Leafs may face them in the first round of the playoffs.
Meanwhile, Josh Leivo doesn’t want to be here anymore.
Josh Leivo has asked for a trade: report - Katya
Has the good soldier in the press box run out of patience?
I can understand his running out of patience to prove yourself, and position yourself for a chance at a better long-term contract. Leivo stands alone as the only player to make every single edition of the PPP Top 25 Under 25.

Jaromir Jagr deserves an immediate Hall of Fame call - New York Post
[SPECIES: Larry Brook says Jagr should be allowed in immediately if he calls it quits. I think that’s a good idea. However, there’s a more interesting tidbit tucked in at the end about the Coyotes:
The Coyotes, we’ve learned, have made it known that Max Domi, with three goals this season and 12 in the two years following his 18-goal rookie season, is there for the taking.
Hmmmm.]
Should the Leafs be in on Max Domi?
Yes! Make the fourth line Domi again! | 29 |
I’d trade for him, but not offer much. If they want Leivo and a fourth, sure. | 132 |
The Leafs already have a Goat. They don’t need more extreme depth players at center. | 36 |
