We only have one chance per season to laugh at the hapless Oilers here in Toronto and we got it last night and the Leafs wasted no chance to make it work. Here's our recap of last night's OT win.

Mitch Marner Beats the Oilers in Overtime
Stolarz with another very, very solid game.

An OT win by one Mitch Marner for his 200th NHL goal.

And let's look at that Bobby McMann goal one more time, an undrafted guy stepping up to the top line of the Maple Leafs.

Of course, there's the unpleasant business from last night's game to discuss as well...

Leafs’ Reaves Ejected For Headshot on Oilers’ Nurse
Toronto Maple Leafs winger Ryan Reaves was given a match penalty and ejected against Edmonton for an illegal check to the head of Oilers defenseman Ryan Reaves.

I know about the DOPS wheel of unfortune, but I think there's no chance Reaves isn't gone for multiple games, which means Alex Steeves probably gets called back in the lineup.

The Leafs game was played after the Belleville Senators made a visit to Scotiabank arena to play the Marlies on Saturday afternoon. The Marlies went down early, but then made a full comeback to tie the game, with Fraser Minten is continuing his fantastic debuted on the team.

And more of of what you all want to see: GREB!

The Marlies comeback tied the game, and it went all the way through overtime with no more goals, so it went to a shootout. The shootout lasted 12 rounds, not actually a record, but pretty close, and Fraser Minten said it was the longest one he had ever been in as far as he could remember.

The Senators ultimately won it out, but the Marlies still got a point putting them second in the North Division by points%.

Finally, here's the scores from last night and... LOLJETS.

The Leafs next game isn't until Wednesday when the Las Vegas Golden Knights are in town.

The Marlies play again today at 4:00 p.m. against the Rochester Americans at the Coliseum. If you are going to the game via the TTC, note that the Bathurst streetcar routing is changed because of Taylor Swift so it goes southbound on Queen's Quay to Union Station instead of going to the Exhibition Loop. It might be a better option to take the King streetcar to Atlantic Avenue and walk south through the GO station tunnel to the Coliseum to get to the game today.

Have a great LOLOIERS Sunday!
