The end of the 2016-17 NHL post-season could come tonight. Or not. The Penguins need a win against the Predators tonight in Nashville, but there is this stubborn narrative of the home team always skating to victory so far in this series.
Either way, I expect another good hockey game. Apparently, so do you. In our boredom poll in yesterday’s FTB you solidly sided against some MSM members who claimed the games are boring by saying the real problem is it’s too long between each game, which make you disinterested.
I agree with this. After Nashville won those two games,] the long break going back to play again in Pittsburgh killed off all the momentum. Instead of this being a seven game series, it feels more like a series of seven game-ones.
In any case, the Stanley Cup will be in the house tonight, along with the Conn Smythe trophy. Who would with the Conn Smythe on the Penguins is probably dependent on the results of this game. Sidney Crosby or Jake Guentzel are possibilities. Marc-Andre Fleury is certainly not.
