It goes without saying that the little community here has done a good job of pitching in with some help for the disaster-struck region. However, if you happen to be around the Peterborough area this weekend there might be another enjoyable way for you to help out. Kim Jorn, formerly of Cox Bloc and currently of Zambonic Youth, will be lending his prodigious musical talents to the cause at Songs For Haiti.
Here are the details for the Haiti benefit that will include Them Blades on Sunday in Peterborough:
Sunday, January 31, 2010 - 4.30pm - 1.00am
Montreal House - Peterborough
13 bands - Donation at the door
You can get more details here through Facebook but kidkawartha and Godd Till assure me that Jorn is worth the price of admission.
