The Leafs are placing Alex Steeves on waivers for purposes of assignment to the AHL, and making the following cuts today:

There was no noticeable problem with Calle Järnkrok last night in Detroit, and he played right to the end of the game, on ice for the six-on-five at the end.

As well a new injury was announced today, not official yet:

Robertson seemed to jam his arm or hand into the dasher board on a hit at one point, but he went right out for the power play that followed, and played the rest of the game including the final shift. It's unlikely this is very serious.

Still up with the main group are Phil Myers and Marshall Rifai, but no extra forwards were kept.

As well today, the Marlies officially announced their camp roster:

There are several players on PTOs, including 35-year-old Justin Vaive, son of Rick. He is under contract to the Cincinnati Cyclones and has played there for years. They are the new ECHL affiliate of the Marlies. He served as player/assistant coach with the team for a few years as well.
