Sceptres release training camp roster

Training camps in the PWHL open next month with the Sceptres working out at Ford Performance Centre starting on November 12.

The roster below lets you see who is signed by the team, and who is a cap invite either as a drafted player or an unsigned returnee.

The PWHL has a one-day salary cap system where at the close of camp – at the end of November – rosters have to be submitted that produce an average salary. Since the PWHLPA does not wish to make salaries public, there is no way to estimate who may or may not make the cut based on that cap. The teams are not required to meet that cap for the season, and can make trades, recall players to cover injuries or sign short-term SPAs without concern about dollars but only about meeting the roster cap of 23 players on SPAs and three reserve players.
