Good news for Toronto and Team Canada.
Noemi Neubauerová returns to the reserve list to make space. And this will be Toronto's first game with no one on LTIR.
Standings
This morning every team has six games left, saving New York who only have five. Toronto plays three, including today's game, before the World's break.
The Sceptres are in third place, one point behind Boston and four ahead of Minnesota. They are six points back of Montréal, but share the lead in regulations wins with 10.
Toronto's strength is their power play, and they are so far ahead of all other teams by success percentage, it's a bit jarring. At 31% vs the 15 -18 of everyone else, it seems there's more here than just short seasons making for statistical anomalies.
A Montréal win in regulation (three points) against Toronto would clinch a playoff berth for the Victoire. Based on the remaining matchups in the League schedule, it would not be possible for four other teams to all finish ahead of Montréal with 48 or more points in the standings.
