It's Easter Saturday, known for being the day everyone shows up at the grocery store simultaneously to buy all the stuff they forgot to get for Easter dinner, and so the check out line is 100 people long. Also a reminder that LCBO stores will all be closed tomorrow. Last chance to get something you need there is today.

Today is also the final game of the Toronto Marlies regular season and it's "Fan Appreciation Night", so there is probably some kind of giveaway, however more important is there's much less weight on the outcome since the Marlies won last night and the Belleville Senators lost, meaning the Marlies clinched a playoff spot. They will face the Cleveland Monsters in the "play-in" round of the playoffs.

And then we wait for the big game tomorrow. Game #1 of the Leafs vs. Senators starts at 7:00 p.m., though you can probably safely assume puck drop won't actually happen until about 7:20.

And that's about it. There's obviously no news from yesterday, and until the playoffs get going there won't be much more.

The first two games are today. If you are bored, you can watch these (times are in ET):
6:00 p.m.: St. Louis Blues at Winnipeg Jets
8:30 p.m.: Colorado Avalanche @ Dallas Stars.
